Richard Wexler: More bumbling on child welfare
The response of the Children's Network to state budget cuts is sadly predictable: whining and buck passing. In a June 5 story in The News-Press, Children's Network CEO Nadereh Salim blames everything on the Florida Legislature. But while the Legislature imposed inexcusable cuts, the Children's Network made the worst of a bad situation.
