Foster dad's new heart full of sadness
Engelman, 55, of the North Side survived a brush with death 16 months ago, thanks to a 30-year-old organ donor. The medical ordeal, however, set in motion events that caused Roy and his wife, Janice, to lose guardianship of a foster child they hoped to adopt after raising him for three years.
