Stretched thin: Low pay, high stress strain Monroe's child-services caseworkers
It remains to be seen if a tentative contract agreement this week between Monroe County and the union representing its Children and Youth caseworkers will be enough to retain more experienced employees, who frequently find better-paying jobs across the state line. The county counts on those employees to handle a growing and more serious case load.
A Revolving door McJob. I think that they're over paid.
