Immigrant Children Are Being Detained For Months. Their Families Decided To Sue.

On Tuesday night, lawyers  on behalf of seven immigrant youth and their families who claim the Trump administration is for an egregious amount of time.

Most of the young plaintiffs, who range from ages 11 to 17, have been stuck in children’s shelters or foster care facilities for between four and six months, despite having family members who have applied to be their sponsors.
