16,000 PINWHEELS FOR CHILD ABUSE DESTROYED IN WARREN

A sign of prevention and awareness in Warren is missing from the lawn of city hall.More than 16,000 pinwheels were put up to raise awareness for child abuse earlier in the month, but they have been removed.Letters from Warren's Human Resources Department addressed to a Mr. Celestino Divieste say he failed to remove the pinwheels before mowing the grass at city hall. As a result, the pinwheels were destroyed.
