Some Are Calling This Father's Tattoo Child Abuse - What Do You Think?
But one father took that idea a step further, into a territory that some are even calling child-abuse. Tattoo artist Brad Bellomo works at a shop in Largo, FL. It came as no surprise to him that his 4-year-old daughter Chloe had also taken to drawing. One day, Chloe asked if she could give her father a tattoo. He explained, "... seeing the art in here, with the ceiling -- she had come in here a few times, watched other artists and myself doing the art on the ceiling there -- and she said, 'I want to do one.'” How did he react to this request? He gave her control of the tattoo machine. As her father guided her tiny hands, Chloe became the youngest tattoo artist in America when she inked a little strawberry on his forearm. Brad couldn’t be happier with it. "I'm not trying to push her into the career, but it's an opportunity where she could do a few tatts get good at it, maybe an afterschool job versus McDonald's," he said. And as far as child abuse goes, Chloe didn’t seem to be upset about it. "I like to paint my daddy," she said.
Note: Child abuse would have been him tattooing her.
