Sweeping reforms made for child protection services

Reforms in Minnesota's child protection system go into effect Wednesday, July 1, including a requirement that all complaints to child protection be forwarded to police for possible investigation.

    Good! But who will police that law.? We have a similar statute in Mt. And I found that case workers were calling abuse into their own state hotline and avoiding the police. When I confronted it and said I wanted to see them cited for non-compliance...they
    laughed in my face!
