DSS, contractor to pay $515K to mother, victimized 6-year-old
The S.C. Department of Social Services and a private contractor it hires to place children in foster homes have agreed to pay $515,000 after a 6-year-old Columbia-area girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by a teenage sexual predator, according to court records.
