The Senate gave preliminary approval to a hefty child protection reform package, 28-0, in a roll call vote Wednesday.
Note: And I'll just bet that if you asked any of them what the sustenance of the bill was, more than half wouldn't have a clue, and are just blindly wrapping their arms around something emotional and easy that makes it look like Republicans and Democrats can actually work together.
