Share your story here. Volume 1

It's a new year and I'm always looking for new and better ways of doing things.  I've gotten a number of emails and Facebook messages recently asking how people can submit their stories to Legally Kidnapped, so I have decided to start and dedicate a spot for this very reason.   Please use the comments section below.

Perhaps I'll start a new post monthly, perhaps not.   We'll see.

The more stories we can accumulate, the more powerful this website will be.

Please be careful when posting personal information and names.

    1. My daughter and granddaughter are unsafe from harassment and physical harm from her former abusive partner. In the last 30 days, he drove to her home, grabbed their child and threatened her, sent her voice mails and texts urging her to meet him for visitation with his child and called the police that she was mistreating her child. The reason: he is angry because he no longer has free door-to-door delivery of his children complements of the State where he had license to behave inappropriately with them and register complaints of physical conditions of the children to CWS for 2 years that subjected both caregivers to investigation. She took her son to CWS 5 years ago for help with an abusive relationship and is now in more danger of harm than ever.

    2. CWS released her physical address in January 2011 after she asked that it be kept confidential. The caseworker said that the father was a danger to the community and warned her to lock her doors and keep a watch for him.

    3. CWS caseworker from 2006 until January 2010 failed to provide a service plan that included assessment and domestic abuse program involvement. 4 years into the case, a new worker ordered the father into assessment and he did not comply. The result: father was emboldened to violate restraining orders, threatened the caseworker, recently assaulted a family in Hilo and is currently harassing my daughter and grandchild.

    4. The CWS service plan that occupied the better part of 40 hours a week for nearly
3 years exceeded her financial ability to pay for transportation and effectively prevented her from moving on with her life with an education or employment. The threat of missing even one appointment was removal of her child from custody or termination of parental rights. (See Lifting the Veil: A Critical Look at Child Welfare Services) - Reunification Plans – A Recipe for Failure.

    5. The father dropped out of the service plan for 6 months with a statement that the
mother would be responsible for reunification of their son. He signed a full-custody agreement for the mother. Behind the scenes, he said that he wanted to escape drug testing. When a restraining order was issued, he jumped back into the service plan, claimed too broke to pay for visits at the YMCA and CWS paid for free home-delivery of his children by Parents Inc. for 2 years. Since he no longer had the ability to “get into the
face” of the mom and foster family, he tried to discredit the caregivers of the children through complaints to CWS.

    6. Her children were subjected to a frightening strip search by their caseworker when the father, who had a long history of frivolous complaints, alleged serious injuries immediately after a supervised visit! (See Lifting the Veil: A Critical Look at Child Welfare Services) – Investigative Techniques – Strip Searching.

    7. My daughter has a 3 thousand dollar debt for 5 years of foster care while the State
unlawfully (violation of State and Federal law) held her son hostage and without
    permanency.

    8. The State has an immovable policy of reunification of foster children with a parent, whether that parent is safe or not. In this case, the father had 6 restraining orders and 2 convictions for violation of an order and harassment in the past 5 years. CWS contracted Parents Inc to teach him parenting skills, yet ignored therapy to address his anger management issues. In 4 years, he had never been authorized an unsupervised visit with his son. Yet, the State pursued reunification with him after my daughter advocated for adoption by the foster family due to bonding.

The case ended after 6 years and my contact with a US Congressman that influenced a change to adoption of my grandson and closure of the case with Mom and her daughter who had been under family supervision.

I live in North Carolina. We had a CPS case for over 3 years over false allegations. The judge threw everything out after 4 years becouse CPS could not and would not provide ANY evidance against me or my husband. We now have a 73 million dollar Federal Lawsuit against the state that goes to trial on june 28th. There is no stopping us.

My children were placed into the custody of my abusive father, his psychotic ex mistress/now wife, and my abusive ex (the children's father). I was the victim of abuse by my children's father. My father and his wife, whom I had cut out of my life, swooped in to take "temporary" custody of my children and then befriended my abuser. The three of them along with Partnership for Strong Families (a privatized CPS for profit with the sheriff of the town a CEO) and Ad Litem, along with DCFS- manipulated and lied, broke laws, trampled my rights, documents forged, lies under oath, intimidating therapists, lawyers, all to take the children of a good mother and never return them.
I was a college student, working on two degrees. On the dean's list consistently for six years while raising two little girls My father and his wife's plan to retire on the child support money (over 15k) while denying my children everything, abusing them and being forced to call her "mommy". I haven't been able to see or talk to my children in over six years. My youngest was still breastfeeding when she was torn from my arms. I don't do drugs, I quit cigarettes cold turkey when I got pregnant, fed my children only healthy organic food, spent all my time that I wasn't in class with them. I am a wonderful mother. I had to quit college two semesters to finish two degrees because of the endless case plan they forced on me. They just kept adding more while harassing and tormenting me maliciously. I am still trying to fight to get my girls back but we are bankrupted by child support and I have already spent over 20k in lawyer fees. The last time I saw a picture of my children was on my ex's Facebook page- they were naked (ages 5 and 7) and sitting in his grandfathers lap (a known pedophile). Over 20 people have tried to file complaints to remove my children from them and have been ignored. My children remain in danger among these vicious and violent sociopaths while the state buries the truth and tries to bury me along with it rather than just admitting they made a mistake by removing my children from my custody and placing them with dangerous monsters.
