The state of Texas is now taking over a five year contract worth $30 million each year, in hopes of improving the state's Foster Care Redesign initiative. Providence Service Corporation, a partner with the Department of Family and Protective Services, voluntarily terminated the contract after failing to live up to the contracts standards.
