Disabled foster child dies at Maryland group home

A 10-year-old disabled foster child died last week while under the care of a group home in Anne Arundel County that Maryland health regulators were in the process of closing down, state Health Secretary Dr. Joshua M. Sharfstein confirmed Thursday.

    Although they are unsure if the death was caused by the placement or his disability, the fact that a 10 year old died in a ward for severely disabled children and not the love of a home. Was his little life always like that? We are a rotten sick society, that with our wealth this is how the most needy of us live and die. May he have peace and joy on the other side.
