Auditor questions state child protection services
The state agency charged with protecting children in abuse and neglect situations has fewer workers, more cases and has failed to follow its own policies and procedures leading, in some cases, to repeatedly exposing children to threats, according to a report released early Monday morning by the Louisiana Legislative Auditor.
