Southeast Raleigh High School senior Selina Garcia is only 17 years old, yet she spent three weeks in an adult jail because the foster care system could not find a place for her. Last Thursday, Garcia was freed after she pled guilty to misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and battery that stemmed from an incident on a school bus.
Collin county Texas did the same thing to a 16 year old aspurgers child, in 2009 his only offense was running away, then when the police tried to apprehend him for running away he ran from them too- why? he told the police and write letter claiming abuse by the system and his care givers - he just wanted to go home, so he was charged by a judge for resisting arrest. never mind the police officer tried to assault him in the apprehensive tanner still fought back aspergers is a form of Autism. in the court the judge had posted the first rule don't apply here= meaning social workers can sit in on hearing to find out that a child is accusing them of and pro pair their own defense or just stop the hearing. yes Texas you have a real winner of a family court system
