Coakley offers reform plan for Department of Children and Families
Governor candidate Martha Coakley has put forward a plan to create a separate Child Protection Division within the Department of Children and Families (DCF), empowered to investigate allegations of child abuse and neglect with a sole focus on the safety of the child or children involved.
