Foster children won’t be placed with Austin agency after report on child’s death
State protective services officials have stopped placing abused and neglected children with the Austin-area branch of Texas’ No. 1 foster care contractor after finding eight violations at the suburban Austin home where an 11-month-old suffered fatal injuries in October.
