Abused while in foster care
On a Friday afternoon in August last year, a man stood outside a police station in a town north of Sydney. The 60-year-old had once been awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia for his work as a foster parent. With his wife he had cared for more than 300 children over 30 years. Now he was about to confess.
