Viewpoints: When overreaction leadsto an unnecessary bill
Sometimes, a story with assorted moving parts leads you to an unexpected conclusion. Over the weekend I shared a tale with a gathering of friends on how well-intended ideas can become bad law.
Note: Well isn't that the basic story of child protective services. Some child loving fanatic goes off the deep end because, "Oh My God!!! The kid got a booboo!" After all of this, that legislator can go on to say that he fought to keep kids safe! Then all the normal people will believe him and vote for him when he comes up for re-election because he loves children.
Such a pathetic scam.
