Little oversight cited in possible overcharges

Little oversight cited in possible overcharges

County officials working with a Middleton foster care agency accused of overcharging taxpayers say the financial information the agency disclosed wasn't detailed enough to spot potential misuse.

Note: This is probably the currently top trending child welfare related news story.  It seems like every other link I look at over the last few days had to do with this particular case.

This is interesting because when child welfare related stories take off like this, it's usually because of some horrible abuse in foster care case such as a kid dying or Jerry Sandusky or something like that.
