A Reoccurring Pattern...

Whenever CPS screws up, or whenever CPS failures are brought to light, the universal excuse comes into play.


Social workers' crushing caseloads

Certainly, a child services worker who does not properly investigate abuse cases by asking thorough questions deserves blame. But let's look at another side.

The the state agrees to pump all kinds of money into the system to solve the self-created problems such as heavy caseloads and high turnover rates.  

All goes quiet again until CPS wants more money.
