Report: Babies, toddlers at highest risk of abuse in N.J. foster care system
Babies and toddlers were far more likely to die from child abuse and spent longer periods of time in foster care than older children in the last five years, according to a report released today that called on New Jersey’s child welfare system to rethink how it responds to its most vulnerable clients.
