Colorado's spending on programs to protect kids from abuse drops


As a shattered economy drained money from state coffers over the past five years, spending on just about everything dropped. But, in Colorado, spending on kids dropped more than in other categories, and money for programs supposed to protect kids from abuse and neglect was no exception.
