San Joaquin County Grand Jury rebukes Child Welfare Services for High Workloads


The San Joaquin County Grand Jury concluded in a recent report that social workers in the Intake and Assessment Unit of Child Welfare Services (CWS) suffer from overwhelming workloads, high stress and low morale as they work to help alleged victims of child abuse and neglect. San Joaquin County social workers are represented by SEIU Local1021.
