A Montgomery County Children Services worker was suspended this year after she billed the county for $675 worth of taxpayer-purchased furniture that vanished, never making its way to the abused or neglected children who were supposed to receive it. Records show Valerie Oglesby, a case aide who began working for Montgomery County in 1992, was suspended Feb. 21 for one day after she admitted to signing clients’ names on delivery forms, records show.
