Lawyers file claim with state over NC girl's death
Even though social service workers had been told that 15-month-old Aubrey Kina-Marie Littlejohn was in danger, the Swain County agency failed to take action that could have prevented her death, according to a complaint filed Thursday with the state Industrial Commission.
