Author charges Caribbean families are broken up in the overreaction to child-rearing beatings


Caribbean and black American families are under attack from individuals and institutions sworn to protect them, says veteran criminal attorney Derrick Arjune in his book “The Mailbox Syndrome,” which says there’s an unnecessary prosecution of some child abuse cases involving parents who still use beatings in child rearing.
