Task force recommends whistleblower protection for people who report child sexual abuse
A task force looking at Iowa’s child sexual abuse laws and policies agreed Tuesday to ask state legislators to provide whistleblower protections against employment-related retaliation for anyone who reports inappropriate activity in the workplace similar to scandals that have been uncovered at colleges in Pennsylvania and New York.
