False Accusations of Child Abuse in Georgia

False Accusations of Child Abuse in Georgia

It’s something no one wants to think about, even in the most contested and ugly of Georgia child custody battles the idea that one partner might falsely accuse another of child abuse in order to obtain child custody. Fortunately, false accusations of child abuse are rather rare: under 10 percent of accusations of child abuse are false. However, of that 10 percent, the majority do not originate with the child, but instead with an adult bringing accusations on behalf of the child. And of those, most occur in child-custody or divorce battles. Unfortunately, especially for very contested cases of divorce full of bitterness and mutual acrimony, false accusations of child abuse are a weapon some parents are willing to use to keep their children away from their other parent.

you are hurting people. mostly the children. all of you. you all should be ashamed of your selves for such inconsiderae emotions that are brought to individuals who have been abused and lost thier child due to the control of an abuser. you are empowering the abuse. accusations? what an arenia you choose for your forum. this site is abusive and distructive to the fight to end abuse. in reality it can never be done because of sites like this. you fuel the fire. legally kidnapped you are a turkey.

  2. Thank you Anonymous for your assessment of my work. Although you do kind of sound like that nut who wants to license the clowns, I won't assume.

I apologize that you feel this way, but these people are frauds and liars. I expose fraud, lies and abuse that takes place in foster care. I expose injustice. And you are easily sold on such lies and fraud, and it is not my fault that you are too stupid to see that.

  3. Legally Kidnapped is providing a much needed service. If people like you wish to remain blind to the truth that is your choice but we the people of LK refused to follow blindly the bullshit that the Children Services keeps spewing.

Keep up your hard work LK. Someday it will make a huge difference is my hope.

  4. Anonymous,
Did check out the content of the "Introductory" found on LK's page. The words presented in this particular post are words from "The Margolis Legal Group, Inc" and not LK. Actually, if you think about it most of these post are articles from others.

LK has merely accumulated articles, indexed them, and shared with others.

Denial is one of those Negative Characteristics. I do recommend, like many of us have, do your homework and try to research all sides of an issue.

Can we stop abuse?? Well can we stop the conflict that dwells within each family. Conflict is a Natural Occurence. However, specific to this article "False Allegations" are many times can be worse than alleged abuse.

The Truth is Always the Truth, and as much as I hate to say this there are many biases within the agency that have prevented the Truth from coming forth.

Yes, we are Responsible for Our Actions. However, I have worked with many families over the last decade, and unfortunately, too many times, the only bad child and/or parent was actually the agency itself by not following the statutes, policies, etc.

Of course I can merely Suggest for one someone thinks they are right, one can not convince them otherwise.

So open your eyes and do your homework...
