Happy Thanksgiving btw. And if you are one of them idiots who is gonna be up at some ungodly hour of the morning busting down the doors of some retail establishment like a flock of starving vultures then the Indiana Child Protective Industry wants you to wear blue in an effort to increase awareness about child abuse. Yes folks! Please give up all your happy memories and think of kids getting raped because Jerry Sandusky was arrested and Penn State is under investigation and because of that every other kid is in danger.
Wear blue on Black Friday for child abuse prevention
As shoppers begin planning their Black Friday shopping strategy, the Indiana Dept. of Child Services (DCS) is encouraging Hoosiers to wear blue as they hit the stores. The national attention the Penn State child sex abuse case has received has caused state child welfare agencies, child advocate organizations and concerned Americans around the country to raise awareness about the child abuse problem in this country. Since 1989, the color blue has been worn during Child Abuse Prevention Month in April as a reminder about the bruises too many innocent children endure.
Apparently they have discontinued their Comments section at that newspaper.
