Denver foster mom accused of aiding fugitive in child-rape case

The foster mother of a man accused of raping an 8-year-old girl faces a felony charge herself after prosecutors say she interfered with police attempts to find him, prosecutors announced Tuesday.
Although our news media leaves us dumber than before watching it, there are times when news can be looked at as a ray of sunshine. Our movement to end government child confiscation programs is having an good impact, and we can see this in the aggressive manner fosters are now being prosecuted. Good news indeed. Our society needs to recognize that birth families, with the instinctive bonding that takes place between birth parent and child, cannot be fostered into another relationship. Our society needs to realize that the media and government has exploited cases of birth family tragedies for the purposes of nurturing foster/adoption markets.
