Agencies don't interfere after exhaustive adoption process

Agencies don't interfere after exhaustive adoption process

The story is heartbreaking and shocking: Two brothers with special needs have been missing for several years, and the couple who adopted them are accused of continuing to collect taxpayer-funded subsidies to raise the boys long after they disappeared from their Monument home.

  1. Once adoption is final, the case is closed and no-one check's on the adopted children. This is SO wrong. My granddaughter was adopted by foster stranger's in 2008. They also had two other little girl's in their home, who were just recently adopted in November of 2010.
After doing some investigative work, I found there were five adult's and two teenage boy's living in the two bedroom condo with my granddaughter and the other two girl's. They have been living there since my granddaughter was placed there in foster care, five year's ago. So who's even checking on these children before they're adopted, never mind after? I worry every day about the health and welfare of my granddaughter, but no-one will listen. Is my granddaughter another child in a dog carrier or cage?
