Supreme Court confronts conflict between constitutional rights and protecting children

In Oregon, a 9-year-old girl was escorted from class to a school conference room, where a child-welfare caseworker and a police officer questioned her about whether her father had touched her inappropriately. After two hours of questioning, she finally said he had, a statement she later recanted.

I should be so lucky, they extorted a confession from my six year old at her school.

2 HOURS is REASONABLE? My 6-year-old is REASONABLE? My 6-year-old daughter would have said anything to anyone if that's what she thought would make you happy. Most 6-year-olds would! That's what innocence is about. WITHOUT PROBABLE or REASONABLE CAUSE?!? If we don't think we live in a police state now, we soon will.
