Report offers Multnomah County commissioners ways to have fewer children in foster care

Multnomah County Commissioners received a report this morning from a work group tasked with finding ways the county can reduce the number of children in foster care, particularly the over-representation of African American and Native American children. The percentage of children in foster care in the county is higher than the state overall.
