US mother to face court over Russian child abuse
Jessica Bigley of Anchorage, Alaska, is set to face child abuse charges on Friday following the mistreatment of her adopted son Daniil Bukharov, reports the BBC.

Russia's Children's Rights Ombudsman Pavel Astakhov has called for a halt to adoptions of this country's children by foreign families until bilateral agreements to regulate adoptions are signed.
