Adoptive parents endure nightmare of secret pasts
For many children and families, adoption brings a happy ending to a hard life.
But as News 8 first reported last week, that happy ending is just the start of a new nightmare for some families.
They blame a system that they say hid the past of their adoptive children — a past of violence and abuse that was later mimicked.
