Azusa woman's attempt to adopt shows difficulties of navigating a complex, nuanced system

An Azusa woman denied the adoption of her newborn nephew believes she was wrongly judged by social workers with the county Department of Children and Family Services.

Note: And she probably was wrongfully judged too, because most of these social workers are not all that bright but are very judgmental.

It's kind of works like this. The real smart ones become psychiatrist, if you're not smart enough for that, you can become a psychologist, if your not smart enough for that, you can become a social worker. If you're not smart enough for that, you can become a licensed caseworker, but if you're not smart enough for that, you can still become a licensed caseworker.
