Michigan Department of Human Services receives $3.5 million for increasing adoptions from foster care

You know, we over here at the worlds greatest database of child welfare fuck-ups was originally planning on a nice simple evening here. Then Ms Tran sends me a total crock of shit, which I am forced to bring your attention to regarding Michigan's $3.5 million take in the adoption bonus race.

The headline reads...
Michigan Department of Human Services receives $3.5 million for increasing adoptions from foster care
Then there is this subheading...
Federal award is a testament to commitment from DHS staff and partners
Commitment from DHS for what? Selling your children?
EAST LANSING - The Michigan Department of Human Services will receive $3.5 million from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for increasing the number of children adopted from foster care in 2009 - the largest award of this kind in the department's history, DHS Director Ismael Ahmed said today.
Well, whoop-de-fuckin-do! I'll bet the pricks won't give me my cut, but just in case...

"All children deserve a safe, loving and stable home.

That's right! And had these assholes not stolen so many of them, they would have that.

And, in the past year, 3,030 children -

3030? I wonder if Bill Johnson's writing hand is cramped.

And if this asshole...
would have signed his name on a few more pieces of paper, Michigan would have gotten even more money from the feds.
