Ex-Miss. resident convicted of fondling foster child

A former Oxford resident is facing up to 15 years in jail and a $5,000 after being convicted of fondling his 16-year-old foster daughter.

A Lafayette County jury on Friday convicted David Campbell, 46, whose last known address was 147 Magnolia Lane, Carbondale, Ill., of fondling by a person in position of trust or authority, according to a news release today from Attorney General Jim Hood’s office.
