  1. That is a step in the right direction.
We need to focus on DCFS and probation/ parole office to work with eachother.
I was testing for both offices and fufulling both case plans
I had called the testing line DCFS provides for testing and my name came up. I called case worker to tell him I had to be at probation office to test so I could not make it . He said so your telling me probation is more important and hung up. I had my P.O. Call and even faxed document to case worker to say the time was conficting but stil had negetive test results. My case worker told me I should has not gone to work so I could have made both appointments. My case was not drugrelated. Needless to say I jumped through every required hoop never missed a visit when I had supervised visits at 40.00 hr 6 hrs wk I could only
900.00 a month secured a job financed a car retained a two bedroom place for my daughter to come home to. I always thought how do parents that can't find work don't have a car or money to afford all the required programs even the patenting class I had to pay for and the drug program , how? Well the judge comended me for fufulling all my obligations I successfully discharged probation before DCFS anticipated but the interested party who wanted my daughter knew the system My sister inlaw had done her iternship with DCFS and unfortunately my daughter inherited a trust fund and all parties concerned had there own agendas. My daughters attorney kept saying "in childs best interest" and I kept thinking she doesn't even
know what my child favorite food is or color. Then they wanted my counselor to come to the court she said she could but it would have to be in a month her mother had just passed away and lived back east . They would not extend it . See story at link below
