Man sentenced for sex abuse of foster child

A Soldotna man was given a 34-month prison sentence Wednesday in superior court for sexually abusing a girl he had taken in as a foster child.

34 months?????????/ Wow, a double standard does most certainly exist. I have read case law of natural parents and/or step parents receiving sentences of upwards of 20 years.

  2. This doesn't really sound very good...being molested as a child will result to a deep scar that is not worth the 34 months of imprisonment...

I personally think that the man deserves a longer and more painful experience.

  3. Didn't you know Foster Stranger's can do no wrong in the eyes of the court's, as DCYF/CPS can do no wrong either? A complete sham!
