ReplyDeleteBTW, Childrens Rights partnered with local NJ attys, and the boys got MORE THAN WAS ORIGINALLY ASKED FOR.
Some of the cw Supervisors may have held MSW insurance. Termed *errors and omissions * insurance, this might have provided some additional funds to the boys.
LK, you might wish to research insurance awards when folks have actual MSW degrees.
Texas at one time provided automatic payroll deductions for caseworkers to take out their own individual * errors and omissions insurance* or negligence insurance.
It would be very interesting if folks could research the UNION CASEWORKERS AND SEE IF THEY ARE PROVIDED ACCESS TO INSURANCE THROUGH THEIR UNIONS.
Even attorneys do not investigate this angle related to CPS.
However, CR and their associated attorneys did check this since they were notified by me.
PAYMENT FOR NEGLIGENCE, CARELESSNESS, DELIBERATE INDIFFERENCE, ETC. by caseworkers.
This should be a priority within the reform CPS movement.
And BTW, the Prosecutor of Camden County threatened to lodge charges against the deficient caseworkers. I believe about 9 were charged in the original indictment.
But NJ cw's are part of the CWA union ( Communications Workers of America union )
And Guv Corzine was widely reported to be involved with a female representative from the CWA about or around that time.
