The Florida Department of Children and Families visited the home of Tiger Woods and his wife Elin Nordegren on December 12th after gossip sites around the world became obsessed with the couple's purported domestic incident and car crash. The couple have a two year old daughter and 10 month old son. "The agency went to the golfer's mansion mid-day, accompanied by a marked police car and stayed for "roughly an hour," radaronline.com reported without naming its source", reported the NY Daily News.
Note: I'm actually surprised that they would even bother with somebody who can afford a lawyer.
They probably had a report and since this was an easy one they spent lots of time on it. I think that could be called loafing on the job but...
ReplyDeleteBrenda Alexander speculates that social workers told Elin to divorce her husband or lose her children. Whatever they said, the CPS intervention may be the best reason for Elin to get herself and her children back to the relative safety of Sweden.
