The Buzz: Is Yelling an Effective form of Discipline

We hear it in homes, in grocery stores, and in schools. We hear it in public parks and on playgrounds. Sometimes we even hear it in churches. What is it? Constantly yelling at children! Is it necessary? Is it an effective form of discipline or is it damaging to children?
