Child's life upended in DSS case

A 6-year-old girl has been in foster care in Horry County since the age of 2, except for a five-month stay with a relative in New York, during which time there were allegations of mistreatment and sexual abuse in an aunt's home.

    You gotta love it. DSS does the right thing and suddenly they're not quite so scared of social services. They good as admit how corrupt they are by mentioning retaliation. I for one am thrilled this child is going to be reunited with her mother. That's how it is supposed to be!
