The latest budget cut proposal in Sacramento County would eliminate 199 jobs from Child Protective Services.

Note: Bye bye.

I have an even better idea. Why don't they fire them all and put child abuse/neglect into the hands of the police where it belonged in the first place? All this means is more and more children will be removed, parental rights terminated, and the children either adopted out for the federal adoption money OR put on high powered anti-psychotics to get "grants" from big pharmaceutical companies. They're going to want job security and the only way to do that will be to get the federal money for selling our children out of the foster/adopt market. Watch out, parents! Your child might be next!

    Brenda:
The money cut is for the county's CPS investigative workers (the ones under the most pressure to get more). With fewer of them there should be fewer kids taken and maybe they'll focus on the hard cases instead like they should. This is actually a good cut (if it results in a true cut).

All DCYF/CPS jobs should be gone! All the deaths are a result of of the facts that 1. Parents rights are not respected in the courts. CPS removes children for false reasons. CPS IS THE REASON CHILDREN ARE DEAD. HOW THE WORKERS CAN SLEEOP AT NIGHT MAKES ANY NORMAL PERSON SICK.
