Citizens Bank gives foster parents group $25,000 grant

Citizens Bank has named the Rhode Island Foster Parents Association the company’s 2009 Third Quarter Champion, and has awarded the nonprofit group a $25,000 grant for its ASPIRE savings program, officials announced last week.

Note: Too bad the Foster Mommy can't tap into that, huh.

  1. It is a pity that this Government will not fund any of the Parents helplines, and groups, that pertain to Social Services system abuse, and Parents that are experiencing the injustice of the secret family courts.
PAIN had its funding taken away, by the department of health in 2002,so we have to manage on a shoestring, and goodwill gestures, money taken out of our own pockets.
The likes of Child line, have no problems, getting state funding.
