Child social workers 'overloaded'

Child social workers 'overloaded'

Child social workers in Sheffield have too many cases to handle and two thirds of them are inexperienced, an internal review has found.

  1. Overloaded, is not the word.
They are struggling to cope, with their caseloads, due to the increase of Care Proceedings, which has risen, by as much as 75%, in on part of the UK.
CAFCASS,are over stretched, which leaves a backlog of cases, the time limits, with reference to Guardians being appointed,to a case, should be within a week, of entering the Family Court Arena.
THE WHOLE SYTEM IS IN MELTDOWN.
