Foster system is destroying children
Judith Meltzer, the court-appointed monitor for D.C.’s famously horrible foster care system, recently reported that “progress in reducing the length of stay in foster care and ensuring a permanent home for every child has been stalled.” Wonderful.
I attended a channel four debate last night, which covered adoption, and fostering, and issues about the subject.
ReplyDeleteThere was very little support, for our cause, i mentioned that Local Authority's, should be using the Kin care clause, instead of using foster care, the worry was, that it would take to long to assess Grandparents, and other members of the family, also due to the financial cost of the assessments.
One young person, had been in 30 different foster placements, which is completely unacceptable.
Another topic was the use of residential care settings, there was a group of Ladies that had been involved in a case of historical abuse, within a place called Kendall house, they have asked for a public inquiry, into the case, which the British Goverment have declined.
ANOTHER COVER UP WITHIN A CORRUPT SYSTEM,
We will never stop the campaign against this corrupt system.
