$6M settlement for starved boy

A multi-million-dollar settlement has been reached in the case of a boy from Lynnwood who nearly starved to death. Shayne Abegg, who's now 6 years old, will receive $6 million from the Department of Social and Health Services and two other parties. KING 5's Susannah Frame reports.

  1. DHS paid a six million settlement on behalf of the boy, yet he is still living the life of an orphan. What happened to the money? Can't the beneficiary of the six million dollars afford to feed him? Maybe the settlement is a fake - DHS took the money from one pocket and put it in the other.
