Parents who had children wrongly snatched by social services win thousands in compensation

A couple who had their children taken away from them for two years after falsely being accused of sexual abuse have been awarded a six-figure compensation payout.

Tim and Gina Williams went through a 'total nightmare' of having their three young children placed in separate foster homes after being wrongly placed under suspicion by social workers.

  1. Dear LK,

This is a hugely informative site and there are some striking parallels between the US and England in terms of the difficulties found in the Family Justice System.

The article you posted though is a hopeful one; here in England to see a duty of care manifest itself from parent to local authority is a superb step forward and a welcome reform for parents wrongly accused of hurting their children.

It is fascinating to see how many pressure groups the States has in the quest for reform and here in London we are also trying to rock the boat a little :)

Many congratulations on your site and if you ever feel like stopping by the English Justice System, you are welcome to visit at www.divorcemanual.blogspot.com.

Take care and Happy New Year to you.
